The STIHL HSA 50 is ideal for efficiently trimming medium sized shrubs and hedges.
- Storage Hole - Located in the handle frame you will find a slot used for storing the Hedge Trimmer safely onto a wall after use.
- Pruning System - UNIVERSAL CUTTING SYSTEM FOR HEDGE TRIMMERS. The pruning system enables you to trim and prune with just one hedge trimmer. The single-sided and double-sided cutter blades produce a very clean cut when trimming, while the optimum sharpening angle facilitates high cutting performance. Due to the large tooth spacing, you can also prune your hedge effectively.
- Blade cover - Protects the cutting blade for safe storeage and transport of the hedge trimmer
- Two Hand Control - The tool is easily started by activating both switches on the loop handle and the rear handle at the same time. The cutting speed is continuously variable using the rear control – for a fine and precise cut. Especially practical: the two handed design is suited for both left-handed and right-handed users.
- Functional Design - The engine housing has smooth surfaces and round contours. That prevents things from catching on the tool or from it getting caught on branches. The hedge trimmers resist soiling and are easy to clean.

The STIHL HSA 50 battery hedge trimmer within the AK battery system, is a true all-rounder for home garden maintenance. It’s lightweight, optimally balanced, and perfect for work in residential or noise-sensitive areas.
It’s loop handle with internal control to provide convenient cutting and manoeuvrability. Designed with the user in mind, you can operate the hedge trimmer easily with either your left or right hand.
The HSA 50’s 50cm blades are laser-cut, diamond-ground, and hardened in tear-drop shaped geometry with 30mm tooth spacing. This design helps the trimmer securely hold branches in the cutting blade, ensuring a clean cut and excellent cutting performance.
STIHL recommend the AK 10 battery however, the HSA 50 can be used with the AK 20 or AK 30.
